Acordingly, the board has decided to introduce disaster management as a part of its front line curriculum in class VIII in the subject Social Studies from the Academic Year 2003-04. It will be taken up gradually upto class X and will also become part of the assessment system.Today’s programme was just another brick in the wall. These efforts put in by our students and staff members, is a step ahead to contribute to the awareness regarding management of any such disasters. T.V. Reporters from NDTV India and Doordarshan took coverage of the Training Progrmamme and interviewed Arushi Dhar and Sanchit Mathur. Various aspects about controlling such instances were discussed. Finally, the program was concluded by a speech by the chief guests.
