Examination Policy: 2007-08 Class VI-IX

• Students will be promoted on the basis of sum total marks
  obtained in all Assessments on obtaining the requisite pass % in each subject. Students will also be assessed on over all performance i.e. regularity, punctuality, discipline, behaviour, Holiday’s homework, class participation.

• No rank is to be a warded to a student failing in any subject in the consolidated subject.

• Any student absent in all Assessments will be detained in the same class.

• For Class IX promotion will be strictly according to board norms.

• If a student is absent in any Assessment on medical ground, promotion will be given on the basis of rest of the assessments taken. However no rank will be awarded.

• No re-assessment will be given in case a student misses any assessment on any ground

• Result of a student of the school team going for  Inter School participation on the assessment day will be calculated on the basis of the rest of the assessments taken.

•  For promotion from class VIII to IX, a student has to pass all the three languages as per the three language formula.
